Why Lustre & Leaf
Lustre & Leaf is a Brisbane‑based, one‑maker, small‑batch studio where your flowers stay in my hands from the first petal placed to the final pour. Nothing is outsourced, nothing is rushed.
Queensland warmth and humidity change how flowers behave. I dry your blooms slowly in controlled studio conditions and provide care instructions written specifically for our climate — guidance for here, in the days between your event and your delivery to me.
You’ll know each stage your flowers move through — arrival photos, gentle preparation, slow drying, layout confirmation, and updates throughout. Your flowers don’t need to be perfect when they arrive, they just need to be yours.
I look at every bloom as it arrives and tell you what can be kept. You’ll always know how your flowers are travelling.
Made with meaning
How I Preserve Your Flowers
Every keepsake begins with care. From the moment your flowers arrive at my Brisbane studio, I handle every bloom by hand — photographing your flowers on arrival, preparing each stem, and beginning the slow drying process that protects colour and shape.
I confirm your layout with you before any resin is poured, and I keep you updated throughout.
Getting Your Flowers to the Studio
Bringing your flowers is simple — no special packaging or stress.
If you’re local to Brisbane or Ipswich, you can drop your flowers off within 24–48 hours, kept indoors in a vase with a little water.
For regional Queensland or interstate clients, I can arrange a trusted courier experienced with delicate florals. Your flowers travel safely, with tracking and priority handling.
